The location of Stodham House With Minster Views is absolutely fantastic, with virtually everything in York within a 10 to 15-minute walk. the property offers a lovely view overlooking the city walls and the Minster. the house is also very clean, with new bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. there is parking available for one car and the hosts are very helpful in answering any questions.

One downside is that the downstairs bedroom can be quite noisy due to the road, even with the outside shutters closed. this is easily remedied by bringing some earplugs along.

Oh, marvellous! The view of the minster from the garden was simply delightful. And how wonderfully convenient to have a parking space. Don't you just love added bonuses like that?

Oh, absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect.

The value for money at Stodham House With Minster Views! was incredible, with a spacious and well-furnished room that had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the Minster and close enough to the city center without being too busy. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly.

The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

Some small issues that needed attention, such as curtains not closing properly and a blind not shutting in one of the bedrooms. Some windows didn't open, which could benefit from having fans available.

Great location, just a short walk away from the city center and with a beautiful view of the city walls and attractions. The house was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and it was immaculately clean. The outside patio area was a nice bonus for relaxing and enjoying breakfast.

If you are a light sleeper, be cautious of the ground-floor front bedroom as it is located on a busy road. Some minor maintenance issues such as curtains not closing well and windows not opening properly.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with beautiful views of the famous Minster. the house was impeccably decorated and spotlessly clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its convenient location allowed us to easily walk to the city center, while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. the courtyard was a lovely addition, providing a relaxing space to unwind. the owners, Jayne and Michelle, were always available and helpful.
